A watercolor illustration of a laid-back, middle-aged man standing in a farm field on a breezy afternoon. He is holding a bag of powdered fertilizer, but the wind is blowing the white dust back into his face, hair, and clothes. He has a self-deprecating, mildly amused expression of defeat.

Life: Took a break for a couple of weeks. My Mum passed away, so I went back to the UK for the funeral. It was great to see my Dad, Sister, Aunt, and Uncle. Back in Japan for now.

Updated photo: My sister took a photo of me in the UK. Seeing as I don’t keep many, I updated the about page photo to keep it real.

Animated videos: Started adding one or two small animated videos to liven up a couple of posts. More are on the way.

Currently Playing 🎮

Jumping into Apex Legends when I have the energy. The current season 29 “Overclocked” meta is keeping me on my toes.

Still Obsessing Over 🏍️

Still thinking about the Yamaha Niken GT. On my recent trip back to the UK, I noticed a regular bike meetup in West Bay near Dorchester, but no Nikens there. I still quietly hope I get one eventually.
