Site & Life (2026)
May 14th
- Life: Took a break for a couple of weeks. My Mum passed away, so I went back to the UK for the funeral. Back in Japan now.
- Site: (My sister took a photo of me in the UK. Seeing as I don’t keep many photos, I updated my author profile photo with it to keep things real.)
Started adding a few small animated videos to liven up a couple of posts. More are on the way. - Habit: Still keeping the Japanese streak alive. Far from high level, but getting to 780 consecutive days feels pretty good. Gave me something to do at the airports.

Jumping into Apex Legends when I have the energy. The current season 29 “Overclocked” meta is keeping me on my toes. Doesn’t work with jetlag evidently.
Still Obsessing Over 🏍️
Still thinking about the Yamaha Niken GT. On my recent trip back to the UK, I noticed a regular bike meetup in West Bay near Dorchester, but no Nikens there. I still quietly hope I get one in Japan eventually.
